I've started my first build (a kit build) at the end end of 2020 and fell in love with guitar building. I'm really proud of my build. I'm starting my luthier course at the autumn 2021.
I present to you my first creation, the Rising Sun.
Quilted maple top,
Honduran mahogany body,
Multilaminated necktru neck, maple, honduran mahogany and black walnut,
Ebony fretboard with maple binding and inlays,
Hipshot bridge and tuners,
Fishman Fluence pickups.
This is my very first scratch build, I don’t have any background in woodworking only a little bit of hand work here and there. But I’m a fast learner, I’m resilient and I learned a lot from Crimson Guitars’ YouTube video.”
